Angel Aliano

Angel Aliano is a SoCal native (UC Santa Barbara grad, born and raised in Los Angeles) with an interest in local government and social policy. Before moving to Berkeley, Angel worked as a Policy & Advocacy Associate for the Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits. In this role, he collaborated with Santa Clara County officials to strengthen community engagement infrastructure and involve historically excluded residents in the local budget process. He also provided technical support for nonprofits as they navigated major changes to federal and state funding streams.
